Ruamahanga- To Tatou Awa T-Shirts 'Our River, Our Responsibility'

These T-shirts are designed to raise awareness about the plight of Wairarapa rivers and all the eco-systems that they nourish. The Ruamahanga is the main artery flowing through the Wairarapa, fed by many tributaries and ending its journey at Lake Onoke, South Wairarapa.

There are two designs by local Wairarapa artists Shannon Gibbs and Samuel Ludden - to find out more about the artists and their work visit their WaiNotGoGreen? profiles (click on their names above).

This is a non-profit venture designed to both support local artists AND our environment - proceeds from the T-shirts go to covering costs and providing a small koha to the artists.
